Services for Gary Don Sumner, 66, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be private. Gary passed away July 24, 2015, at his home. He was born May 20, 1949, in Lubbock, Texas, the son of Edwin and Novella Baker Sumner. He married Bonnie Andersen on October 13, 1980. Gary was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He served his country as an LDO Lieutenant Commander and toured in Vietnam. Gary was Past Commander of the Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post #1341. He loved watching old M.A.S.H reruns.
Gary is survived by his wife, Bonnie Sumner and son, Nathaniel Sumner of Bull Shoals, AR; daughters, Emily Sadowski of TX and Stacey Sumner of CA and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents
Memorials may be made to the Association of Aviation Ordinance Men.
