PATTON, Susan age 84 of Tipp City passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born in Canoe, Kentucky on January 15, 1929 the daughter of William & Jalie (Gilbert) Hall. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Troy and enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. She is survived by her 3 daughters Pam (Randy) Orem, Debbie (Tony) DiGiannantonio, and Sharon (Tom) Demmy, 5 grandchildren Lauren, Andrea, Cristina, Gina, and Jeff, 8 great grandchildren Korey, Lindsey, Jacob, Ian, Jack, Paige, Mollie, and Bailey, a sister Helen and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years Hobart Patton, and several nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the First Baptist Church of Troy, 53 S. Norwich Rd. Troy, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Troy with Pastors Doug Magin and Dale Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Memorial contributions may be made in Susan's memory to the First Baptist Church of Troy Deacon's Fund, 53 S. Norwich Rd. Troy, Ohio 45373. Services have been entrusted to the Blessing Funeral Home, 11900 N. Dixie Dr. Tipp City.
