June K. Andrews was born June 30, 1919, in Dennison, daughter of the late Everett O. and Della C. Ruppenthal Andrews. She was a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where she attended from 1942-1944. She taught Bible for 21 years in Michigan schools, and founded Teen Haven Youth Center in Vassar, Michigan, for which she also served as director, retiring in 1994. Miss Andrews was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma (Gordon) Svelmoe and Wanda Mae (William) Irvin; and one brother, Everett O. Andrews, Jr..

Surviving are 3 nieces, 6 nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
