Judith Rae Mott McCoy our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away December 26, 2006 after a long and very courageous battle against a brain tumor. She was born August 23, 1939 to Mary Esther Mott in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from West High with honors. She then went on to beauty school at Darrels Beauty College and became an instructor. She was a hairstylist on and off for 49 years. Judith and Gerald owned the Fashion Jeanery in Riverton for 13 years and she owned her own Beauty Shop (Hairline) in West Jordan for 8 years. Gerald and Judith were married August 9, 1959 in Elko Nevada. They lived much of their married life in Midvale and South Jordan. She was a member of the LDS Church. She loved to travel and be with her family. She had a big heart and always thought of others first. She is survived by her husband Gerald Dee McCoy and children Shelly, Shanna (Todd), her mother, Ester Mary Mott and grandchildren; Ashley, Shantell, Tyler, Casey, LaShay, Chris, Adam, Ashley and will be missed by dearest family and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday December 29, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at the Country Crossing Stake Center, 10775 South 3200 West, South Jordan, Utah. Friends and family may call Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S0.) from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. The Family wishes to thank the health care professionals for their loving care and outstanding service.
