He was a son of Albert and Maude (Elliott) Dearbaugh.

Also surviving were two sons, Donald E (1928), Sacramento, CA, and Robert L, Centerville; four brothers, Clifford, Toledo, Raymond, Fairborn, and James, Wapakoneta, and Paul, Wapakoneta; a sister, Hazel Snyder, Dayton; and five grandchildren.
He was retired but had been associated with the Home Insurance Co. and was a member of the Eagles Lodge, both Cincinnati.
Graveside services were with Rev. William F Hollensteiner officiating.
