She was born April 7, 1914, in Fairfield, Tenn., to Grundy and Cora Ellen Cline, and had lived in Tifton for four months. Mrs. Stone was retired as an inspector for American Home Foods in Indiana. She was of the Apostolic faith and enjoyed socializing with friends. She married Basil E. Rippy, who preceded her in death. She later married Harold Stone, who also preceded her in death. Her parents, four sisters and four brothers also preceded her in death.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. LaPorte County [IN] time at Fairfield Church, Fairfield, Tenn. Friends may call at Wilkinson and Wiseman Funeral Home, Portland, Tenn., Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. LaPorte County [IN] time. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, Fairfield, Tenn. Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors - Tiftarea Chapel, Tifton [GA], is in charge of arrangements.
