Rodger “Bud” Ward, 63, died July 23, 2015 at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville.

He was born July 29, 1951 the son of the late Merritt and Bonnie (Sharp) Ward in Napoleon, Ohio.

Bud served the United States in the Army from 1971-1975. He was employed by Manufacturing Housing Enterprise in Bryan, Ohio. He was a hard worker and was often found working in his yard either mowing or flower gardening. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and campfires. He loved being dad and Poppie to his children and grandchildren.

Surviving him are his wife, Cindy Craft; four daughters Libbie (Matt) Craft, Kaylee (Tim) Ward, Dee (Jason) Katzenberger, Shasta Dickess; four sons, Bubba (Adriene) Craft, Danny, Cody and Justin Ward; 13 grandchildren, Braxton, Taydra, Justice, Rylie, Jaiden, Jace, Jenna, Allie, Skye, Macee, Cadence, Bubbie, and Paige. Bud has two brothers Mike and Larry Ward.

He was preceded in death by a son Dustin Ward, his twin brother Robert and his brother Butch.

Visitation for Bud will be Monday from 1:30-3:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home immediately followed by a graveside scripture reading and prayer at Forest Home Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bubba Craft, Cody Ward, Tim Vought, Matt Bingman, Mike Nussbaum and Neil Levy.

Memorials may be given to Cindy Craft.
