Shirley K. Wilson, 84, of Brentwood St. passed away the afternoon of March 10, 2014 at the Jameson Care Center.

Born in Butler, Pa. on September 2, 1929, Shirley was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary Margaret Beggs Klinger. Preceding her in death on May 24, 2009 is her husband, Donald E. Wilson whom she married on June 30, 1947.

Shirley retired from St. Francis Hospital where she worked in the emergency room registration department. In her earlier years she had worked as the head cashier for Loblaws Grocery Store. Shirley enjoyed traveling to Florida for the winter with her husband. She also enjoyed playing bingo. Shirley cherished the times she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Todd Wilson of Edinburg; her daughter, Diane Offie and husband Joe of New Castle; her sister, Norma Jean Herald of Bradenton, FL; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her daughter, Charlene D. Rice and two brothers, Robert Klinger and David Klinger.
