COUNTY NATIVE DIED WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Isabella Alcorn Junkins Passed Away in Johnstown
Mrs. Isabella Alcorn Junkins, aged 89, widow of Isaac N. Junkins, expired yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Miss Annetta Junkins, in Johnstown, following an illness lasting more than a year. Death was due to general debility. Mrs. Jenkins formerly made her home at Seward, going to Johnstown about a year ago. Isabella Alcorn was born near Indiana, Dec. 17, 1831, and was a daughter of the late William and Ruth Forrester Alcorn. Miss Alcorn and Isaac N. Junkins were married at Seward early in the 60's. Mr. Junkins died at Seward in 1900. The following children survive: Miss Annetta Junkins; David L. Junkins and Edward M. Junkins both of Seward. Mrs. Junkins is survived by a brother, Isaac Alcorn of Garfield, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. Martha Johns of Seward. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 o'clock this evening at the Junkins residence by the Rev. Dr. C. C. Hays, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. The body will be taken to Seward tomorrow morning and additional services will be conducted in the Seward Presbyterian church before burial takes place in the Wakefield Cemetery.
