Dixie W Lincecum,64, of Georgetown died at 1:15 p.m. Friday in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. He was retired from the Louisiana Dept of Highways.
He is survived by four sons, Loney Lincecum and Mike Lincecum both of Tullos, Norman Lincecum of San Antonio Tex., and Herschel Lincecum of Georgetown; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Lofton of Urania and Miss Ollie Lincecum of Georgetown; two brothers, Odie Lincecum of Georgetown and Hodge Lincecum of Joinerville, Tex, three sisters, Mrs. Alcine Nugent of Alexandria and Mrs. Stella Christy and Mrs. Louise Roberts, both of Gerogetown and nine grandchildren.
The remains are at the family residence south of Georgetown. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Selma Baptist Church at Georgetown. Burial will be in Lincecum cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros.
