Mrs. Barnes, 78, Stockton, died Thursday, July 16, 2015, of natural causes, exactly 21 years after her husband's death, in Stockton of natural causes. She was born in Bear Creek to Tom and Myrtle (Broyles) Harris.
She married Calvin "Tom" Barnes March 27, 1954, and together they raised five children, Randy. Rick, Pam, Katie, and Rod.
Patsy was a homemaker, raised children, and took care of family members. She was a good wife, mom, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
She was a member of the Montgomery Club, Optimist Club of Stockton, and was saved and baptized in March 1950. She later was a member of Old Union Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Randy Barnes and wife Carla, Rick Barnes and Rod Barnes and wife Rina, all of Stockton; a daughter, Katie Vauble of Republic; a son-in-law, Stan Bowles of Versailles; five grandsons, David, Stetson, Brandon, Kevin, and Austin; four granddaughters, Keri, Cassy, Breanne, and Jennie: four great-grandsons, Tommy, Daniel, Aaron, and Alex; two great-granddaughters, Kaitlin and Chloe; a brother; three sisters; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom Barnes; a daughter, Pam Bowles, and a great-grandson, Justin Barnes.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Brumback Funeral Home, Stockton, Mo. Lynn Williams will officiate the services. Visitation will be Sunday July 19, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Brumback Funeral Home, Stockton, Mo. Burial will be in the Alder Cemetery.
