Steven Craig Sellers, 59, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015, after fighting a long, courageous battle with cancer.

He was born May 25, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Sharon Bebout Sellers and Jerry Sellers.

He served in the Marine Corps and worked as a service manager in the automotive industry. He loved to play and watch baseball. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and was an avid Cubs fan. He liked riding his Harley and attended Sturgis many times. Steve loved spending time with his family and his many pets. James, his rat terrier, was his favorite of the “rat pack” of dogs.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon; grandmothers, Harriet and Thelma; and his grandfathers, Forrest and George.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., with funeral service at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Lowman Cemetery.
