CARL EDWARD DENSMORE, 73, of Tatamagouche died Friday in the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital. Born in Lower Selmah, he was a son of the late Harry and Margaret (ANTHONY) DENSMORE. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a member of Sharon United Church and was a member of the Wallace Masonic Lodge No. 76 and was the first Worthy Patron of Atlantic Chapter No. 65 O.E.S., Tatamagouche. He is survived by his wife, the former Dora BARKHOUSE; two daughters, Janet (Mrs. Floyd TUCKER), Tatamagouche; Charlotte (Mrs. Terry WHITE), Truro; six grandchildren, two nephews and a niece. He was predeceased by one brother, Harold. The body was in Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Sharon United Church, Rev. Morley BENTLEY officiating, with burial in Lockerby's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sharon United Church Building Fund or Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital.
