Chief radio man, U.S. Navy.

He enlisted from Springfield, MA on Oct. 14, 1940.

St. George was aboard the USS Nevada (BB-36) at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

The following week, on Dec. 13th, he was transferred to the USS Lexington (CV-2) and participated in the Battle of Coral Sea.

He was received on board the John Penn on May 10, 1942 and served at Guadalcanal.

St. George later served on the USS Thornhill (DE-195) at the Invasion of North Africa.
