Robbin Carter, age 52 of Chesterton, IN passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 23, 1962 in Valparaiso, IN to Samuel Nelson and Sandra Kay (Sitar) Collins, Jr.
She was married on April 30, 1994 to Joseph Carter who survives of Chesterton, IN.
She is also survived by her father, Samuel of Chesterton, IN; daughters, Caitlin (Preston) Parenteau of Chesterton, IN and Kelly (Michael) Dohring of MA; brother, Thomas (Angelo) Collins-Paglicci of Michigan City, IN and sisters, Dawn Collins of Chesterton, IN and Heather (Tim) Maluvac of OH; grandson, Aidan, nieces Andrea (Nick) and Paige; nephew, Ty; great nieces, Mia and Lia and great nephew, Collin.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra.
Robbin was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
