He was born the son of Raymond and J.Lorene Stewart Pember on September 28,1943. He was a General Contractor and a membr of the United Methodist Church, Chairman of the trustees, and member of the Promise Keepers all of Jetmore.
On July 2,1964, he married Sharon Heersche at Mulvane,KS. She survives.
Other survivors include:two sons, Dale Pember of Fargo, North Dakota; Keith Pember and wife Jennifer of Rose Hill,KS; one daughter, Dora Pember of New Port Beach, California; one brother, Dennis and wife Kim Pember of Emporia,KS; two sisters, Carol Harfmann and husband,Eric of Hays,Ks; Verna Jarman and husband Mike ofBolivar,Mo; 6 grandchildren: Elizabeth Jones, Jeremy, Blake, Kevin, Derek and Jaxson Pember.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kevin Pember.
Funeral was held at the United Methodist Church at Jetmore with Rev. Marvin Ewertt presiding.
