Sarah Frances Manus Woodall, was the daughter of Jerome Bonaparte Manus and Mary Jane Kelly.

Sarah married William Colvin Woodall on July 30, 1874 in Jackson County, Georgia Of that marriage there were 3 children: Mollie Frances, Junius Singleton 'Sang', & Charles Roman 'Charlie' Woodall. A child born in 1885, may or may not be William's, but per Sarah's family, William Dillard Woodall was Sarah and William Colvin Woodall's child.

Sarah & William separated, which is verified by the 1880 census of Sarah, in which she is residing with her 3 children and her parents.

William apparently married or was living with Julia Blanche Unknown and the child, Annie, was born in Jun 1879. So the story goes, he killed Julia's husband and kidnapped her.

It appears William may have still been seeing Sarah and was with Julia too.

Per Sarah's family, Sarah went to the creek to wash clothes and was never seen again. ***Per the Woodall family, William Colvin Woodall admitted to killing her and coming to Florida with Julia.
