The contracting parties were Mr. Elliott's daughter, May Elliott and Mr. Clyde L. Hendryx, of Ceres. Miss Irene Hendryx acted as bridesmaid and Mr. DeVer Elliott was best
man. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. W. Barnett, pastor of the M. E. Church, ot Portville. Onlynear relatives and a few intimate friends of the parties were present. Mr. and Mrs. Hendryx received a number of handsome presents. The groom is an estimable young man who
has many friends in Ceres, and in fact where ever he is known. After a short trip the happy couple will take up
their residence in Ceres, where they will be cordially welcomed. The Mail takes pleasure in uniting with their many friends in best wishes for their happy wedded life.
