Gerry has come back to his roots. He has left behind many friends in Lynn Lake. Memories of Ice Road Truckers, 15 minutes of fame with King of Obsolete, recovery of a boat at the bottom of Reindeer Lake, playing the organ and also had a try at the bag pipes. He was in the Air Force for 10 years as a heavy duty mechanic, Gerry had his own plane, he was a plumber, welder, electrician. He took figure skating... And the penny farthing was a feat he mastered - as a clown he rode it in the Calgary Stampede Parade and the Carstairs Beef and Barley Days Parade. Gerry served in the Canadian Air Force for 10 years. A memorium will be held at a later date, this summer sounds like a good time. He will be missed.....but not forgotten.
