Miss Minnie Gertrude Hooker, Union
Bridge, died at the home of her
niece, Mrs. Roy Alexander, Gettysburg,
Pa., Monday, February 27, 1939,
after an illness of three months. She
was a daughter of the late Ephraim
and Martha Catherine Garber Hooker,
and was aged 59 years. She leaves
two brothers, James at home, and
Harry W. Hooker, Baltimore; also six
nephews and two nieces.

The funeral services were conducted
at the Raymond K. Wright funeral
home in Union Bridge, Thursday at
1:30 P. M., with further services in
the Union Bridge M. E. Church and
burial in Mountain View cemetery.
The Rev. Paul J. Sampson officiated.
The pallbearers were Charles Gray,
Edward Devilbiss, Orien Hess, John
Brown, John Lantz and George Eyler.
