Myra Rushworth-Cansier, 71, of 76 Hedley Ave., an employee of the Jewel Case Co., Providence, for 20 years before retiring in 1980, died yesterday at St. Joseph Hospital, Providence. She was the widow of Oscar Cansier. Her first husband was the late Williams Rushworth.
A lifelong Johnston resident, she was a daughter of Emma (Lilly) Thurber of Johnston and the late James Thurber.
Besides her mother, she leaves a son, William A. Rushworth, and a daughter, Patricia LeMoi, both of Johnston; two brothers, James Thurber of Providence and Clifford Thurber of Johnston; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial in Highland Memorial Park.
