Chief Brian Rowe was a Fire Chief for West Fork Volunteer Fire Department in Maine. He died in the line of duty at age 67. He served 12 years with the Fire Department as a Firefighter, including 4 years as Chief. He was responding to a fatal Snowmobile Accident near Moxie Pond, when he died due to a medical emergency. He graduated High School in Bath, Maine, and enlisted in the Navy. He served in Vietnam and the Merchant Marines. He also had served as a Deputy Sheriff in Sagadahoc County for 8 years, and the Woolwich Fire Department 19 years, as an Assistant Chief. He also had been a Security Officer at Bath Ironworks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.

He was survived by: His wife Judy Rowe, Two Sons-Michael and Lonny, and a daughter Crystal, plus four grandchildren.
