Sharon Kay Dickson, 66, of Fulton passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Columbia Manor.

She was born September 25, 1948 in Linn, Mo., the daughter of the late Louis Pinet and the late Ruby (Mantle) Pinet.

On March 21, 1970, Sharon was united in marriage to Charles H. Diehl. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1995.

She later married Richard Dickson on October 16, 1997. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2001.

Sharon was a member of Fairview Church of Christ. She most recently worked as a program assistant for Callaway County Special Services.

Previously she had been employed by Stride-Rite Shoe Factory, International Shoe Company and Samuel’s Shoe Company. Sharon belonged to the Callaway Combo Volunteer Group, was a life-time member Fulton VFW Women’s Auxiliary, American Legion Roscoe Inloe #5, and the Eagles Auxiliary. Her hobbies included computer games, emailing her friends, and volunteering for SERVE, Inc.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include nephews, James Howard Goers (Debra) of Steelville, Tim Diehl (Sandra), Leslie Diehl (Becky), Todd Diehl (Christy); niece, Tina Diehl-Duncan (George); and great-nephews, James Alvin Goers (Charlene) of Oklahoma City, Ok., and Michael Goers (Sandy) of Fort Leonard Wood. Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by sisters, Rose Marie Goers and Rube Louise Pinet.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, July, 24, 2015 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Eric Braman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Linn, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251. Condolences may be left for the family at Maupin Funeral Home online.
