Marvin Douglas "Doug" Pierce Sr., 70, passed away on July 23, 2015. He was born in Green County, Ky., to parents Marvin Edward "Bid" and Mary Ethel (Moran) Pierce, who preceded him in death. Others who preceded him in death are his wife, Ruby Helen (Scott) Pierce, and three brothers, Tommy, Nelson, and Joseph Dale Pierce.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children Mary Jo Gediman (Dan), Laura Pfannmoeller (Mark), Christi Gaddie (Eddie), Doug Pierce Jr. (Lisa); grandchildren, Shelbi, Jarron, and Jaxon Gaddie, Ben and Maggie Gediman, Brady Pierce, and Ava Pfannmoeller; sister, Shirley Rose (Louis); brother, Terry Pierce (Kristin); and Doug's sweetheart of seven years, Regina Throgmorton, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Pierce was a devoted and loyal employee of the Hays Automotive Group for just over 40 years. He loved restoring older Ford models of cars and trucks.
