George Willie Pruitt, Sr., 77, passed away on the morning of July 22, 2015. Mr. Pruitt is survived by his wife, Edith Ann Pruitt of Ripley; sons, George Willie Pruitt, Jr. of RIpley, Ben Wallace Pruitt of Ripley, Shaun Earl Pruitt of Brownsville, and Adam Clay Pruitt of Covington; daughters, Barbara Gail Patrick of Covington, Darlene Wooldridge of Covington, Nora McCommon of Covington and Tammy Umbra of Ripley; brothers, James Preston Pruitt of Corinth, MS, Clifton Hayes Pruitt of Covington, and Phillip Dowell Pruitt of Covington; sisters, Alice Faye Jones of Covington and Melba Sue Qualls of Covington; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. The services for Mr. Pruitt will be held on Friday, July 24, at 11AM at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Visitation for Mr. Pruitt will be held on Thursday night from 5-8.
