She was born October 17, 1944 in Houston, Texas to parents, Buford Ray and Mary Ethel Howard.
She is preceded in death by her parents and is lovingly survived by her husband of many years, Walter Ray "Peanut" Jones; by children, James Siegert, Marty Alms and Kimberly Costa; by brother, Tommy Howard and by grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Michael, Dianna, Shuim, Taylor, Travis, Sean, Austin & Garett; by great-grandchildren, Michael, Mary Jeannine, Maddey, Jordan, Mazie, Adrian, Shaylon, Thomas and Ellis; as well as by other family and many dear friends.
A visitation was held Monday evening, July 7, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m.
Services celebrating her life were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Carter's Chapel.
Interment was followed in San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
