David Dwayne Douglas Tuesday, July 21, 2015 David Dwayne Douglas, 48, of Corbin, passed away on July 21, 2015 at UKMC in Lexington. He has gone to Heaven to be with his best friend and wife, Kimberly Douglas, and his loving Dad, David L. Douglas. David loved to travel and explore new places. He is now strolling the shores of Heaven.David is survived by three children, Christopher Dwayne Douglas, Ciera Danielle Douglas, and Caitlin Desirae Douglas, all of Corbin; mother and step-dad, Frances and Ken Anderson of Newcomb, Tennessee; sister, Tammy Givens of Resaca, Georgia; nephews, Cody and Joseph Givens of Resaca, Georgia; mother-in-law, Sandy Reece of Corbin; and numerous family and friends who mourn his passing.The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. Thursday, July 23 until the funeral at 7:00 P.M. at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.Friends may gather at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. on Friday to travel in procession to Pine Hill Cemetery for burial.
