Alice Betty Lankford, age 92 of Columbus and previously of Painesville, died on September 28, 2016 at Worthington Christian Village. She was born on December 15, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late John and Lena Vokac.
Alice was a 1942 graduate of Mentor High School. She was a member of the Worthington Christian Church and a former member of First Church of Christ in Painesville where she and Herman were married on January 2, 1946.
Survivors are her daughter, Judith (Louis) Ball of Columbus; grandson, Duane (Lisa) Thompson of Worthington; great grandchildren, Allora Thompson and William Thompson of Worthington.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, and her brother.
Visitation will be Monday 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Painesville.
