WALKER
LIVINGSTON -- Funeral services for Wallace W. Walker, 87, of Livingston will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 8568. Interment will followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston. Visi-tation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Cochran Funeral Home. Mr. Walker died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on July 9. Wallace was born on Sept. 24, 1927 in Fort Cobb, Okla., to Charles Olen and Ollie Walker. He married Amanda Scott on June 27, 1947 in Houston. He retired from Southwestern Bell in 1984 after 38 years of service. He then made his home in Livingston. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Navy. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, charter member of the Color Guard and served three terms as the Livingston VFW Post 8568 com-mander. Wally was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Lloyd Walker and Bobby Walker; sister, Victoria Nigh; daughter Paula Geary and great-grandson, Hayden Paske. Wally is survived by wife, Amanda Walker; daughters Brenda Walker and Wendy Walker; son, Charles Walker; daughter-in-law, Julie Walker; grandchildren, William and April Keyworth, Brian and Melissa Geary, Paul and Sheree Paske, Scott Paske and Beth Mulhollan, Jason and Brandie Paske, Neisha Walker, Leah Walker and Amanda Maddox and great-grandchildren, Haley Paske, Hannah Paske, Tyler Keyworth, Hunter Paske, Gavin Kelley, Rhyan Maddox, Elizabeth Gray, Amber Paske, Grant Paske and Sebastian Maddox. Pallbearers will be William Keyworth, Paul Paske, Brian Geary, Scott Paske, Jason Paske, Tyler Keyworth, Rick Oliver and Travis Foster. Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
