Jo Baker, 81, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed peacefully on July 21, 2015. An avid world traveler she taught those around her to love life, adventure and gumbo.
Survived by her husband John Baker; three daughters Ellen Tarbox, Dariel Baker, and Becky Schiffel; and granddaughter Kimberly Schiffel.
She will be dearly missed and will be celebrated at a later date when husband John joins her for a final voyage through the Caribbean.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center or a conservation charity of your choice.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with services following at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd. in Austin.
