Harry Lee Walters, son of Mr. David Walters, Jr. and Mrs. Mary Ann Walters, was born on December 5, 1968, in Holly Hill, SC. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June, 3, 2015 at his residence in Holly Hill, SC. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Jerry Gavin.

He grew up in Holly Hill, South Carolina and attended the public schools of the area, graduating from Holly Hill-Roberts High School in 1986. At an early age, he joined Briner Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) under the leadership of the late Reverend Jacob Jamison. He was employed at Ronnie Johnson Masonry for many years. He was also self- employed as an auto mechanic until his health began to decline. During his spare time, he enjoyed laughing, joking, horse-back riding with family and friends and fishing with his brother Lewis and friends.

In addition to his loving parents, he leaves to cherish his love and fond memories: his wife, Lorraine Walters of Holly Hill, SC; four daughters: Balinda Walters, Karen Walters, Sharon Walters, all of Holly Hill, SC and Alexis Walters of Cross, SC; three adopted sons: Felix Thomas, Benjamin Thomas and Steven Thomas; one step-son: Karlvosei Clarke of Holly Hill, SC: four brothers: Randy (Almeter) Gavin, Jerome (Linda) Gavin, David Lee (Michelle) Walters and Lewis (Christine) Walters, all of Holly Hill, SC and Curtis Mitchell, who, was like a brother, of Vance, SC; two sisters: Ms. Mary Lee Sellers and Mrs. Mary Sue (Nathaniel) Ravenell, both of Holly Hill, SC; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Margie Ritter, of Holly Hill, SC; his father-in-law, Mr. Allen Ravenell, of Cross, SC; three sisters-in-law: Ms. Carolyn Ravenell, Ms. Shereka Ravenell and Ms. Keinesha Ravenell, all of Holly Hill, SC; six grandchildren, two uncles, seven aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Homegoing services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Briner Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 9717 Old State Road, Holly Hill, SC. Bishop Melvin Brown, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday from noon until 8 PM.

Friends may call at the residence, 2765 Toney Bay Road, Holly Hill, SC and at the funeral home.
