A Celebration of Becky Strickland Morgan’s Life, age 52, of Beaumont, Texas will be held 10am Friday, July 24, 2015 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper, Texas.
Burial to follow in Hancock Cemetery.
Becky was born on June 13, 1963 and went to be with her Lord on July 21, 2015, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas.
A native of Jasper and a former resident of Sugarland, Texas she had lived the past two months in Beaumont. She was a 1981 Jasper High School graduate. A follower of Christ, she had a heart for inner city missions and caring for others.
Throughout her years of suffering she took every opportunity to witness for Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and a friend to all. Her joy was God, family, and fishing~particularly white perch.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Charlie Morgan of Jasper, mother Nelda Strickland of Jasper, sons Chad Morgan and wife Emily of Beaumont, Erik Morgan and wife Katelyn of Beaumont, granddaughter Essie Mae Morgan and a grandson on the way, Beckham Morgan, brother Michael Ray Strickland of Baytown, Texas, sister Kim Floyd & husband Lucky of Jasper. She is also survived by a niece Kayla Floyd, a nephew Seth Floyd and a host of other family and friends.
Becky was preceded in death by her father Prentice Strickland and mother Vivian McMurry Strickland and grandmother Essie Mae Strickland (133854187).
