Mr. Lovett was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Humboldt. He retired from Wallington Brothers in Jackson.
Thomas is survived by his daughter; Doris (Ray) Bynum, grandchildren; Tracy (Chad) Hicks of Lavinia and Dana (Michael) Lovelace of Atwood, great-grandchildren; Dakota and Kendall Hicks, Will and Alayna Lovelace, brothers; Bill (Louise) Lovett of Humboldt, Robert (Claudine) Lovett of New Johnsonville, TN, and Donald (Pat) Lovett of Gadsden.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife; Mavis Hall Lovett, parents; Joe Sherman Lovett and Ida Jane Boyd Lovett, brothers; Charlie Lovett and James Lovett, and sister; Ruth Lovett Hall.
