Services for H. Frank Brown, 82, Tyler, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Memorial Funeral Home, Tyler, with Dr. Aubrey Sharpe officiating.

Entombment will be in Tyler Memorial Park under direction of Memorial Funeral Home, Tyler.

Mr. Brown died April 21, 2007, in Doss.

He was born July 21, 1924, in Ensley, Ala., and lived in Tyler since 1958. He attended Kilgore College, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Jenkins from 1942-1945. He worked in the maintenance department for Kelly-Springfield Tire Co., and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses and Julia Patterson Brown; son, Eric Brown; and brothers, Howard Brown, Marion Brown and Ruford Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Brown of Tyler; daughters, Karen Wood of Tyler, Vickie Carvajal and husband Joe of Springfield, Va.; grandson, Michael Carvajal of Springfield, Va.; daughter-in-law, Patti Brown of Charlotte, N.C.; nephews, Donnie and Glenn Brown; and niece, Kathy Brown.

Pallbearers are Orvis Rozell, Billy Ray Rozell, Paul Fisher, Paul Rozell, Harry Johnson, Charles Cade and Bill Smith.
