Frances Joseph Alvarez, 69, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, peacefully at his home.
Francis was born on October 22, 1945 in Miami, Florida to the late Celeste (Erben) Alvarez and [the] Rev. Frank R. Alvarez.
As an educator, Frances taught high school math and was a member of the Episcopal Church. He lived in Miami for 18 years until moving to Tampa, Florida.
Francis is survived by his loving siblings, Peter M. Alvarez of Orlando, Florida, Richard (Judi) Alvarez of Salt Lake City, Utah, [the Rev.] Mary (Michael) Rosendahl of Sebastian, Florida, and Stephen (Laurie) Alvarez of Waco, Texas; adored uncle of Peter Andrew, Anna Michelle, Carla, Sarah Anne, Carmen, Vanessa, Andy, and Amanda; beloved great uncle of fourteen great nephews and nieces.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 10:00am at All Saints Episcopal Church, 2303 Seaview Drive, Jensen Beach, Florida.
Francis will be laid to rest shortly after at All Saints Cemetery.
