Rose Ella Collins, 88, Kansas City North, passed away July 20, 2015 at her residence. The Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 AM Saturday, July 25th at St Patrick Catholic Church, 1401 NE 42nd Terrace, Kansas City, MO. Visitation is scheduled from 9-10 AM Saturday at the Church. Burial will follow the services in Resurrection Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to St Patrick Parish.
Rose Ella was born May 30, 1927 to James Tecumpsa and Florence (Hubbard) Yarbrough in Casa, Arkansas. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and its parish choir. She was an avid gardener and especially loved growing roses. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clarence; her grandson, Marcus; brothers, Mason Yarbrough and Ted Yarbrough; and sisters, Lottie Mon and Marie Holmes.
Survivors include her children, Marcus (Billie Jean) Collins, Dennis Ray (Sherry) Collins, and Suzanna Marie Copack; 3 grandchildren, Leviticus, Shaun and Michna and 6 great-grandchildren.
