Douglas Ray Bradley, 75, Grandview, Missouri, passed away July 20, 2015 at Research Medical Center from complications of diabetes. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at Mount Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery South. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Belton, Missouri or National Kidney Foundation in Overland Park, Kansas or the Salvation Army in Grandview, Missouri.
Mr. Bradley was born August 2, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri, one of thirteen children born to Gertrude and Galen Bradley. He was united in marriage to Nancy Jane Foster on January 6, 1961. He worked in the hotel industry for many years.
His faithful companion has been Droog, the Boxer dog.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers JW, Orville, Gene, Donnie and Ronnie, sisters Marie and Maxine and grandson Joseph Anthony. Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife Nancy Bradley; son Mark, daughter-in-law Lisa, and granddaughter Sydney; daughter Donna and grandsons Brad and Cody and his wife Emma, and granddaughter Crystal; great-grandchildren Arianna, Jonathan, Yovanni, Preston and Marlie; sisters Ruth and Nadine; nieces, nephews and many, many honorary grandchildren.
