Connie, with her family by her side, passed away Sunday July 19th 2015 in Lee's Summit. Born in Memphis Tennessee January 24th 1950, she spent most of her life residing in Lee's Summit Missouri. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Dale Turner, twin sons, Dale and David Turner, daughter, Staci Tackett, six grandchildren, a brother, step brother and step mother. Connie lived a wonderful life with a passion for God's word, painting , gardening and being a homemaker. As an avid artist, Connie hosted several workshops where she shared her skills with other ladies. She also spent many years as a hair dresser. Indwelt with an abundance of wisdom, Connie was a mentor to numerous people. She was always loyal, compassionate and caring to countless friends and family. Connie had one of the most unique, infectious laughs ever heard. She loved to laugh and that made others in turn laugh along with her. She loved animals (cats, dogs and horses). This world has lost a wonderful woman who touched so many lives and will be missed greatly. Heaven is brighter because of her presence today. Connie has now joined her father and mother Edward and Louise Ward who preceded her in death. Visitation services will be held Saturday July 25th 2015 at 9:30am and funeral services at 11:00am at the Langsford Funeral Home in Lee's Summit.
