BENTON CITY, Wash. - Vera Excell James, 92, of Benton City, Wash., formerly of Wellsville, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014.
Born March 26, 1922, in Grafton, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Goldie (Boyce) Freeze.
She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1940, and was a member of the former Central United Methodist Church in Wellsville.
Her first husband, Robert H. Excell, and second husband, Edwin James, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons: Robert H. Excell Jr. of Hemet, Calif., Bruce A. Excell of Benton City, Wash., and Gregory B. Excell of Shady Shores, Texas; and one stepson: Ronnie James of Texas; and 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
