Early years of education was attained in the Cumberland County School System. She graduated from E.E. Smith Senior High School.
In 1946 Mother Brown made Key West, Florida. Mother Brown loved her family ad friends and especially cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was known by everyone for her special gift of hospitality. To her credit, she was one of the finest cooks in the city. Mother Brown was employed with the department of the Navy for 25 years, and after retiring in 1997 she relocated to Lithonia, Georgia with her husband, the late Curtis Brown. She was a Titus Woman (Titus 2:3) and a mother of the Church.
