Dwight M. Brockman, 67, of Cheyenne died on Monday, July 20, 2015 in Cheyenne.

He was born on April 30, 1948 in Cheyenne and had lived in Wyoming all of his life. Dwight graduated from Central High School in 1966. He was a musician, station manager at Little America, Wyoming from 1972-1979 and had owned The Coin Shop for 33 years. Dwight worked for his Dad at Brocks Sheet Metal as a youth, helped install the furnace systems in the Chisolm Homes subdivision, drove school buses and did janitorial work for LCSD #1, and worked construction for Ryman & Worth. He was a member of the Cheyenne Coin Club, Eagles Lodge, Elks Lodge, and the Moose Lodge.

Dwight was a man of many talents and passions. Some of the many include his beloved wife and family, his undying commitments to the outdoors, his love for music, and his day brightening sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen (Collins) Brockman, whom he married on August 20, 1966 in Cheyenne; a son, David Brockman (Tammy) of Burns; a daughter, Jennifer Winters of Cheyenne; a brother Paul Brockman (Norma) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; two sisters, Carol Smith (Bill) of Malta, Montana and Ruth Zeman of Cheyenne; three grandchildren, Allora Brockman, Cecil Brockman, Marcie Winters; five sisters-in-law, Jan Quick and Rena Racine, both of Cheyenne, Sally Hernandez (Ted) and Phyllis Moore (John), both of Austin, Texas, and Shirley Smith (jack) of Ft. Collins, Colorado; four brothers-in-law, John Riedle (Janet) of Austin, David Riedle (Carol) of Conway, Arkansas, Roy Riedle (Sherry) of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Larry Clark (Chong) of Utah and numerous nieces, nephews and countless extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Cecil “Brock” and Edith (Durham) Brockman.
