Robert A. Ellis, of Center Line, Michigan, passed away June 19, 2015 at the age of 78 years. He was born June 2, 1937 to Almon and Eula (nee Compton) Ellis in Detroit, Michigan.
Robert was the owner of Ellis Brothers Towing & Repair, Inc. in Warren, Michigan, since April 1971.
Robert was a proud business man and highly respected by the community he served. He enjoyed people and was very much a people person. His family was very important to him. Spending time with them brought him the most joy. From his wife, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren to his "great grandpets" they were all very much and important part of his life. He was loved just as much by all of them and truly will be missed by all who knew him, loved him and called him Friend.
Beloved husband of Joanne for 59 1/2 years. Dearest father of Vicki (Michael) Richardson and Sheri Stilwell. Loving Papaw of David (Cristin) Richardson, Steven (Leanne) Richardson, Heather Stilwell and Heidi Stilwell and great grandchildren Tyler, Kylie, Ryliegh and Cooper. Dear brother of James (Wilma) Ellis and Fran Ellis. Survived by his faithful great grandpets Blue, Lucy, Tulip, Wallace, Emmett and Oliver. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
