J. D. Was born May 27, 1950, in Palestine, Texas to Claude and Emma Marshall. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for many years at Lehigh Portland. J. D.'s second career was with Aramark where he truly enjoyed the friendship with friends he made there. He was a regular at the bingo hall.
He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends. That's where he thrived and that's where he will continue to thrive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, D'Esta; and brother, Dale.
J. D. Is survived by the mother of his children, Doris; sons, Chad and fiancé', Christina, Lance and husband, James and Austin; grandchildren, Ty, Payge and Miles; brother, David. He was blessed with a blended family including: daughters Lory and husband Kyle, Laynie and Kandace; grandchildren: Kris, Marie and Bryce, Addey, Hope and Caleb, Eric, Daniel and Daylen; great grandchildren: Blake, Blayne, Kadience, Kennedy, Kash and Kinsler. J. D. was loved by many friends, nieces, nephews and family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Providence Hospice Place for their excellent care for their loved one.
