Vera L. Sanders, 89, of Chariton passed way on July 17, 2015 at Southern Hills Specialty Clinic in Osceola, Iowa.
A private burial will be held in the Chariton Cemetery in Chariton, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Vera is survived by her daughters: Virginia McFarland of Prescott, Arizona, Linda Adair of Detroit, Michigan, Connie Piper(Harold)of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Bonnie Sanders of Osceola, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren k; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sanders in 1992; parents, Matthew and Vera(Hawkins)Johnston; son, Howard Sanders; son-in-law, Duane "Harry" McFarland; and step-mother, Ruby Johnston.
