Age 49, formerly of Erie, Pa., daughter of Gerald and Betty Amann Grafius of Erie. Susan was a 1974 graduate of the former St. Benedict Academy, attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania then served in the U.S. Army as a medical nurse. She was a second Martha Stewart with decorating, gourmet cooking and quilting.
Susan was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Charles Grafius.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Peter Cassi; two daughters, Sarah Gable (Carl) of Topton, Pa. and Rebecca Cassi of Stafford, Va. ; two brothers, Gerald "Jay" Grafius (Marcia) and Darrell Grafius (Wendy); one sister, Leslie Clark (George) all of Erie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
