She lost her husband on 2 Sept 1958, and then married Henry Leroy James on 26 Oct 1960 in Hoxie, Sheridan County, Kansas. He died 19 Aug 1962 in Quinter, Kansas.
She then moved to her son's home in Aurora, IL, where the Lord called her home on 11 Jan 1966.

Funeral for Mrs. Lelia Farley Weidenhammer James of Aurora, a former resident of Galesburg, were conducted at Kimber and West Chapel, Galesburg. Burial was at Linwood Cemetery.
