MARY B. FLENTJE

Mrs. Mamie Mary Flentje, 69, of 1421-19th St., Two Rivers, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at her home early Monday morning. She had previously been in fair health.

Funeral serivces will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 9 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mrs. Flentje, nee Mamie Benzinger, was born on Feb. 23, 1887, in the Town of Mishicot, a daughter of the late John and Frances Hess Benzinger. She attended the Saxonburg school, Town of Mishicot, and when a young woman was employed in the Hess Hotel at Cavour, Forest County, Wis. On Nov. 7, 1906, she was married to Charles Flentje at Mishicot. He preceded her in death in Two Rivers in 1929. In 1919 the family moved to Laona, Wis., where the couple took charge of the cooking in the lumber camps in the area. The family returned to Two Rivers in 1929, where she resided since.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. ?????for Demro of Madison, Mrs. Albert Daetz of Fox Lake, Wis., and Mrs. Roger Wilsmann of Two Rivers, four sons, Melvin of Merrimac, Wis., Chester of Two Rivers, Ralph of Manitowoc and Paul of Two Rivers; seven sisters, Mrs. Michael Popp of Milwaukee, Mrs. William Lawrence of Manitowoc, Mrs. Edward Bebeau, Jr., Mrs. George Peot, Mrs. Milton Pr???? and Mrs. Leo Dri? of Two Rivers, and Mrs. B.J. Schwartz of Milwaukee; four brothers, Oscar and John of the Town of Mishicot and Arthur and Joseph of Two Rivers; 25 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Flentje was a charter member of the Golden Age Club of Two Rivers, and the 10-Year Club of the Hamilton Mfg. Co. having retired from employment at the latter ???? two years ago.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 2 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
