Place of birth is from the 1865 and 1875 New York State censuses. Date and place of death are from the Town of Wilson (USA, NY, Niagara County) Vital Statistics, Vol 1, Deaths, # 365. This information is also found in the New York Death Index, 1852-1956. The Town's records would have been the source for the State's Index.

There is a marker foundation located between the markers for Susan and her daughter, Elbertine. The marker was missing as long ago as 1988, when this section of the cemetery was read, and only the foundation was found. In all probability, this marker is for a member of the Eggleston family, but this is not presently known. If you have information about this marker, please contact the manager of this memorial.
