Ronald Bobby Caldwell, age 71, of Brainerd passed away on July 19, 2015 at Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center. Ron was born in Brainerd to Robert & Edith (Jotham) Caldwell on October 28, 1943. He was in the US Navy and worked for FMC in New Brighton for 30+ years as a machinist. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycling. He was a member of the Eagle's and the American Legion. Ron is survived by his children, Julie Ann Caldwell of Blaine and Jason (Jenelle) Caldwell of Motley; sister, Velma (Mike) Harrison of Palisade; special caregiver, Diann Nelson of Brainerd; and 7 grandchildren; 1 nephew and 1 niece. Ron is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Caldwell. Funeral Service for Ron will be held at 11AM on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home - BRAINERD CHAPEL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Dykeman Cemetery, in Brainerd, MN.
