Rachael A. Dohr, age 98, a former Two Rivers resident, residing with her daughter and son-in-law in South Carolina, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004.

She was born Oct. 6, 1905 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Charles and Amelia (Cammers) Ahrens. Rachael was the first graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School. She had the privilege of presenting the diploma to the last graduate of Washington High School, class of 2002. She married Theodore (Ted) Dohr on Sept. 14, 1926 in Saukville. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1983.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Kathleen Seder: one brother: Lincoln Ahrens; a sister: Gladys Curtis: and a grandson: Paul Pappas.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, 2004. The visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 am. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. William O’Brien, with burial to follow at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Memorials may be made to the Two Rivers Historical Society.
